Heart of the Home model
When I went to Peru to live for a year and a half, I took this book with me. When you’re missing a taste of home, and you need to do some easy, comfort-y food from scratch, well, this is it.
The presentation of the book is offbeat and informal. I adore it, although it has its politically incorrect moments– people are messy, complicated creatures and this book feels like learning recipes from a living, breathing person. It is conversational. It is imprecise. And it calls some ingredients by colloquial (and totally incorrect) names.
If some of the other reviewers had read the preface, they’d be aware that Ms. Jackson is well-aware that she doesn’t do a good job of policing her tongue… she tells us, “When I say butter, I mean margarine– or you could use olive oil or whatever tastes good to you.” I’m not sure how the reviewers who freaked out about Ms. Jackson’s politics, social attitudes, or linguistic imprecisions get through a day. A ride on a public bus must be like a death sentence to them. Overall, this is a charming, chatty cookbook with a wealth of absolutely delicious, real-world flexible recipes crammed into it any which way. I adore it.

Georgia Years of 25 for you
First of all, I love this product. I’ll explain why it didn’t get 5 stars further down.
Music Player-
This thing is an amazing mp3 player. The interface to browse music is fluid and works perfectly. Never once has the touch interface become cumbersome, as I feared. To the contrary, it speeds things up a LOT.
Sound quality is totally identical to that of my Pc’s brand name sound card, and I use decent headphones.
Included Earbuds-
Very decent. Better than any other earbuds I’ve used.
The Screen-
The screen on this is bright and beautiful to the max, with a fast reacting responce time, so video and coverflow run at very nice frames per second. The only downside is that the screen is a fingerprint magnet. And on a device that’s only form of input is touching the screen, that’s a real problem. Screen protectors are a solution, but make sure you get decent ones. I first got cheap ones and they attracted prints just as much as the screen.
The Body-
The body is certainly stylish, but feels VERY delicate. I was afraid to even walk around with the thing until I got a decent case. (I’d recommend Otterbox for it’s great quality.) The back is also very susceptible to prints, so once again, I’d suggest ordering a decent case along with the touch.
Video-
It’s a little picky about what types of video you can play (no wmvs of course, but also no mp4s, no avi). But when you get one playing the quality is brilliant. Smooth and the colors are as vibrant as possible, when brightness isn’t set low (but keep in mind, this drains the battery quicker).
Included Apps-
The Youtube app is great, but limited. The video quality is always 360p, understandably, but the interface can be confusing. Also, features such as playlists, annotations, and even channel pages are mostly out.
The Web Browser works fine. I barely ever use it though. Many major websites have free apps that make getting to their stuff easier.
There’s a calculator too. It calculates things.
App Store-
There’s an app fo

KitchenAid KUIS18NNTB suck
My daughter’s multiple readings of the “Conversations with God” series was and is a major component and ally in what will definitely be her life-long struggle to “not pick up” drugs or alcohol. Who knows what may happen next but she has been sober for four years, and the series has visibly more than once rescued and maintained her sobriety. There will always be a copy for her in my house. She often gives hers to addicts she feels are trying to stop their habits.
I have a little problem with some of the author’s statements and wonder if sometimes he confused his own thoughts with statements from his conversations. For what the series has done for my daughter, however, this “minor disagreement” does not matter at all.

Just got TomTom 1D00008
I use this at work as a Battalion Chief responding to calls in a Chevy Suburban. This gets the GPS totally out of the line of vision. It also makes it easy to grab it off the dash to enter the address. It sits still during emergency responses. I have also used one while on vacation and I like being able to set the unit in the floor board to get it out sight when parked.

MOVIE DVD NIGHTMARE THEATER watch out
I found this book unbelieveable, I was born and raised in Alabama and never heard of “seperate toilet’s” built for the help. I found it totally fictional. Waste of money. My daily playmates were colored children and no one in my family or anyone I knew ever treated any of them like this.
If you like to poke fun at illiterate white trash and poor black’s then you probably will like it. I don’t and I didn’t.
